Joe: To get four sparks you will most likely need four coils. Here is
how the magneto works.(disclaimer: I am not even close to being an
electrical genius)
The magnets cast into the flywheel go whipping by the poles of the coil
inducing voltage into the windings of the coil which charges the
capacitor. The points or solid state device breaks the connection and
the field collapses and the capacitor discharges as a spark .ZAP!!!
