If I came across saying "don't do it", then I need to correct that, it's
not what I meant to say. I've manual milled with a ball screw machine,
and you just need to make sure you lock the static axis securely. Also,
if climb milling, you'd best not stop in the middle of the cut, and let
go of the handwheel.
