Good advice on the HTD style belts. I'll never use the Xl(trapezoid)
again, given Any sort of choice.

I cut pulleys for htd from aluminum bar stock with a ball-end mill in
the early 90's. That machine is still producing good work (sign
router). The calcs were from the (then) current Stock Drive parts
catalog.
