I've got an old (1960) B'port that I'm planning on fitting the PC-DRO to. It h
as about 36" travel on the X-axis. I don't often use it, but hate to put limit
stops in just ot prevent overrunning the DRO scale, which can only be ordered
from US digital in a 34" Max length.
So, if I just leave room in the mounts for the encoders to run off the ends o
f the scales, what will happen? Will the display just quit working, rememberin
g the last number it showed, or?
