Hi,
The original iopeners could be hacked into and made to take hard drives and
linux - there was a web site dedicated to just this - all the necessary
plans and info - but, after the first mad rush to buy them, netpliance
caught on to why they were selling so well and modified the design to make
them unusable. Took out the IDE interface and made the operating system more
'hard wired' IIRC.
