Matt,

I was afraid that was the answer I would get. Yes I have emc running in
simulation
on a pentium 120, but would like to see if it will run OK on a 486/66. But,
gawd,
it is slow going. I used Tim's script to setup and compile rt, but after
running
for 9 hours, I went to bed. Don't really know how long it took to finish.
After
installing emc without errors, it wouldn't run - just hung in the second step.
I tried Arne's change but no change.

Is there a way to delete the rt kernel without reinstalling RH5.2?

3 hours to install RH5.2, 9+hours to install rt, 3 hours to install emc. Kind
of uses up the day.

The stepper drive kit from Dan M arrived today - no time to mess with a 486!
