Question to all,
I just recently purchased a Shoptask 2000 w/ CNC, DRO,Quadralift etc.
I am not a machinist, just thought it would be fun for a hobby,
however, the software that came w/ the CNC setup is not the greatest
(DeskNc) My question is which software package would be best for me
to look at. Cost is not an issue, I just want something that is easy
to learn, and easy to run, and user friendly. I would like something
that is "all inclusive", meaning the ability to make a part w/o
having to bounce back and forth from program to program. I don't know
if this is even possiable because, again this is all new to me, and I
do mean ALL NEW TO ME. I hope these are not silly Questions, but we
all have to start somewhere.
ps; Just some personal info to aid you in your thoughts . I am an
electrical contractor, and a pilot w/ a collage education, so I am
mechanically inclined, and have half a brain.
Thank you in advance.
