Dave, Jeff and the list,

Yep, I remember the PDP 8E. First machine I worked on after I got out
of the NAVY in '77. TTY's, LINC tape drives, later 8" floppies, 4K core
memory. I would have liked to had one of the old core planes! First
experience with stepper motors. We used them to drive a probe around in
a "water phantom" to plot radiation from medical 4Mev accelerator. 8080
Altair was MY machine!
