Offshore racing

Hi,

I am really crazy to power up my PC again, - but the last thing I
did, was to download the CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO, and I just have to read it
!!

I have been up all night, and I risk missing the yearly event that
is going on here. ( For anyone interested, I found some pictures
at http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~torma/offshore.htm , but while they
are tuning their motors, - I can say a few words. )

Digitizer tablet: The tablet was given to me, and I really would
like to test how I can digitise some pictures and old drawing - not
pick menus, - so I am still very interested to hook it up. I think
I have Autocad 10 ( or 11? ) - but I can't find a driver for this
tablet.
( I lost a lot of programs a few years back )

First of all, get the latest version of the emc software. You will
see a note that they have changed names on several modules, and you
have to edit the .ini and .run files.
The minimod.o module is not updated to use the realese_09J. They
have renamed the functions, i.e.
your output: .....: unresolved symbol rt_task_xxx , is looking
for the old rt_task_xxx , while they have named it: rtl_task_xxx
with the 09J release.

If you have the latest emc, read the RELEASE_NOTES (
../emc/doc/REL...) They have renamed the minimod.o - > stgmod.o ,
and so forth..

I can't remember everything, - but if you do a new install, then I
guess there is very little you have to do.

If you have time, I would be gratefull to know how you make and set
up the interferometer, or if I can find something on the subject on
the net.
