Now, _that_ is clever! I like it.
If this is to evolve into a real product that sawtooth wave command
input, while cute, is not too practical. It would need some other more
"computer friendly" way to get a hi res position command. OTOH, the fact
that it could output "normal" quadrature encoder signals back to the
controller is very practical.
All this needs is another little black box to interface a handful of
these to a PC parallel port and the world would be a better place. Or,
at least you could sell a few.
