Hi,

Thanks for the kind words. The input was convenient, but I agree,
very impractical. It was done to just check out the idea. Rather I am
leaning to having a "change the resolution on the fly" kind of thing.

The step/dir inputs would run a more modest counter and D/A, say 4
bits. That would "microstep" the servomotor at no to low speed but be
bypassed at high speed where all this is unneeded. Maybe a new
breadboard in a week or so.
