Joe, the current line of Gecko steppers will not power the bridgeport
steppers to there full potential. They are developing these drives
now. The new drives will be about 170VDC instead of the current
80VDC drives. This will give a much better high end speed. Marris
has said these drives will be available first part of next year.
Several of us are waiting for these drives for our machines.
