And now for something completely different.....

Hi folks,
Rather than all this talk about pulse generators and PC interfacing, I
want to get back to one of my original reasons for joining this list:
Mills! That is, I want one.
Some of you may recall my "old rusty Gorton on an island" folly. You
guys convinced me to leave it where it was. I thank you for that.
However, I still have this big empty place in my shop (speaking
metaphorically only, of course).
I live in southern California so it seems likely to me that somewhere
within a couple hundred miles of me there must be nice Bridgeport series
I CNC with a dead control, sitting in the back of someone's shop,
gathering dust. I'm sure it would be much happier in my shop.
So, what I'm looking for are some clues about how I would go about
finding this mill. Any ideas? TIA
Jeff
