Hi again,
Bill & Dan:
---------
I am a little confused ! I went to www.metalworking.com and looked
at the pictures of the CNC conversion project, - and I didn't
understand that it was a DC-motor servo system ! ( real dope..)
All the time I had thought you were doing stepper drives.
So now I am very curious, - I am working on something too, - but I
mine doesn't work any good. Is there any change to get plans ?
Second, can you tell a little how this works ?
You have an external case, with amps and a controller ?
How is this interfaced - serial or parallel ?
Do you run EMC ?
The servo amps: do you have a DC-feedback tacho ?
I working on a system (30V/2A ), but I don't get the response I
should, so I am trying to add tacho feedback, but I have some
problems with it. I need to do some redesign, - and I am looking
for other ways to do it.
