Maybe not-so-rapid prototyping

I know this is pretty much off topic but thought you all might be
interested any way. This could work out for you modlers out there
who are looking for that last little bit of detail :-)

World's Smallest Wineglass

The diameter of the glass is 1/200,000th that of a normal glass. If I
do the math right, the volume grows proportionally to the cube of the
diameter (exactly, if we assume the glass is a sphere). This means that
you can get (1/2 * 10E-6)**3 times as many pours from a standard 750ml
bottle of plonk than you could from a standard 5-pour glass.

That's 40 * 10**18, or 40 quintillion, glasses.

If I understood the article correctly, the construction technique is
pretty neat, a focused ion beam in a gas. It's almost like creating
something out of thin air.
