Rich,
When in DOS mode, there is no need to "Shut Down" the operating
system. Once you're at a DOS prompt (C:\) just turn the unit off with
the power switch. It will load Win9x on the next bootup sequence.
A bit of parts gloat, I got a call from on of the local surplus
companies last week about a mag-opt disk library being salvaged. I
got two Lintech twinrail sections over 36" long with all the slides,
etc and a bar-slide arrangement (also over 3 feet) that ran a
cartridge loader carrier. It has Technology Inc. MFM motors with
cogbelt gear reduction drive on them. Should make a great base for a
CNC engraver system. Now I need to get some space to start putting
all these parts that I've been collecting into something productive.
Respectfully,
Ron Moore
