Walter,

I'm assuming from your post you have not yet RECEIVED your order.
Please update us THEN! What you say about CA vs. FL bobcad is true,
true, true! FYI, Bob T (the bob in bobcad) lives primarily in CA.

When you get the printed manual you may find it to be minimal in
scope, and error filled. It's been this way since Bobcad went from
dos to windows, IMO. I have experience with BobCad 10, 12, gold (all
dos) ,Bobcad windows(the first win ver.),14, 15, 15.1, 16, 16.1,and
17. The CDrom 'videos' are problematic, to put it mildly.

On a positive note, Bobcad does work, and is MUCH better (ver.17)
than previous windows versions. IF you invest the time to 'see things
their way' you may find it to work well for you. Like much S/W, it
has some 'quirky bits'. Good luck.

Hope this helps.

Ballendo

P.S. Get the home number of anyone you come to rely on in the CA
office. Seems the good ones keep slippin' away... (just my opinion)
