It is not so easy. You have to write the kinematics programs to
accomodate the distance between rotating links, etc. that define
the possible (and not-possible) motions that the machine can make.
These programs have basically a standard setup, but you need to
rearrange things a little to define how the axes are stacked up, and
the dimensions between them.

After getting that worked out, the only other thing that is likely to need
attention is the emc.ini file, which defines a number of hardware
parameters related to I/O addresses and servo or stepper performance
tuning variables.

emc.ini (and a few variations on this file) are in the 'home' directory for
EMC, wich is usually /usr/local/emc

I'm much less familiar with the kinematics routines, I just know that they
exist.
