A point just came to mind! Often, the "minus outputs" (-5 and/or -12, etc.)
have MUCH lower current-rating than one or more of the "plus ouputs" (usually
+5 is MUCH more!). So, i't might be kinda like adding 1½ volts to a 12-volt
auto-battery by connecting an AA cell in series with the car-battery!
