out at 10A so I don't get full advantage in parallel. However, the plot
shows nearly identical performance with 9.5A half coil and 10A parallel with
these amps.
I still suspect the amps are never reaching the current limit. If memory
serves me right, the amps were set at the factory for 50% idle cutback. If
this is true then the amps won't reach full current until 900 RPM, based on
what the manual says.
Clearly, I need to determine what the cutback is set at and fiddle with the
adjustment resistors. The motors will certainly tolerate higher idle
current than 5A.
