Tim,

I'll second your "soaking" from motion suppliers, in general, and
Motion Industries, especially!

But I have to again say, Trapezoid belts (XL type) are vastly
inferior to the HTD (parabola) types!

To all,
Get your pulleys and belts from PULLEY and BELT suppiers, IMO!
The "one-stop shops" can be good if you don't know what you're
looking for (and often they're not even good at that, IMO), but you
have US(CCED LIST)! It will nearly always save you money to
buy 'higher up the food chain'. The price of doing this is HAVING
increased knowledge...

One caveat, some mfr's have an established network of dealers, and
while the mfr WILL sell to you, you may actually get a better price
from one of his 'dealers', since he (the mfr) will have to hold
the "retail" price to 'protect' the distributors!
