>SmokeYes I have already found that is in demand. I think the hardware cludging together I can handle, the cost of the programs is killing me. That is why I have MaxNC, use Miceografix Draw for CAD and all freeware conversion programs. Let me pose this question "IF" you know the circumference of a straight sided glass and could program the steps to match: could you use the X as the rotator?

>What feed, speed, depth of cut?My machine is not set up to give that reading properly, but it is slow, I guess I should try and determine that, I used a Dremel at the lowest RPM setting, the cut depth ended up being 1/64 on the one with scrolls and 1/16 on the text, at first it seemed like it was going to crack for sure, but went right through it.
>What type of glass?Sorry, don't really know, just snatched it up from a pile. It came from an old Micofishe reader mount.
>How did you fixture (hold) the glass?I placed some 1/8 high density foam under the glass and clamp down with flat aluminum plates using the P-Nut mounts in my Corian table. I am going to try it without the foam once, I thought it might help to cut down on stressing the glass. It was not what I would call a good machine fixture but there was no movement or slippage. If this gets any paying prospects I will use a back stop and adjustable side clamps.
