Just one that I haven't seen mentioned. Absolute and Incremental zeros.
I use this ALL the time. This makes it much easier to do bolt circles as
the incremental axis can be set to zero at the XY center of the pattern.
This makes square and rectangular features a snap as one can set zeros
at the center and X and Y numbers are just a +/- difference. Much less
likely to overshoot a number this way. I would never buy a readout that
wouldn't do this.
