Ahh, now we're getting somewhere. The three pages of stuff includes the video
resolutions and sync speeds that are either within the capabilites of your
video card/monitor combination, and can be tried, or beyond them, and
will not be tried. If ALL combinations in the xconfig file are rejected,
X can't start (which sounds like what you've got). You may have to
go into the xconfig file with a text editor, and twiddle things, or
run the xconfigurator program again with different options.
