IMO, the hiwin shafting is 'not as good' as the thomson
(straightness, hardness). The linear bearings seem to be equivalent.
Where this comes from is mix and match of the two styles over the
years. Both thomson and hiwin bearings 'wear' the hiwin shafts
equally, and MORE than when run on thomsom shafting.
