I'm wondering if anybody out there knows of a parallel output card that is
pre-opto isolated. A plain Jane card is ten or twenty dollars, I can't see
how a pre-isolated one could cost much more. Maybe the specialty I/O card
makers have something we can afford. Otherwise, maybe Dan or Tom could set up
a kit or ready made version for the group...

BTW, many of the commercial step drivers have isolated inputs, it would be to
then protect the cables themselves and to isolate input lines.
