Hi,

Bill, You are talking about two separate pieces of
software here.
The CAM makes G-code, and the CONTROLLER takes the
G-code
and makesthe motors move. Take a look at Deskam
($250) for your CAM,
<http://www.deskam.com/> and
CNCPro (150) for your controller.
<http://www.yeagerautomation.com/>

I have downloaded demo version of Deskam2000. Made
some simple 2D
drawings (rectangle and circle) and exported as dxf
file to deskam. Attempts
at importing the file with deskam resulted in the
following error message:

access violation at address 00484F34 in module
'DESKAM2000.EXE'.
Read of address 00000008

Repeated the test with demo Rhino3D. This time the dxf
import was
successful. While following the tutorial pocket
tutorial with this drawing,
clicking on the button for "create toolpath by
pocketing the selection
resulted in another error message:

access violation at address 0042E558 in module
'DESKAM2000 EXE.
Read of address 00098053.

What does the error message mean and what is wrong?

Thanks.

P.S. Ballendo. Thanks for the post on Dremel mount.

NP
