Simple Stepper Motor Control Software

Hi Folks

I have recently completed construction and testing of Camtronics 5A
Chopper Drivers.

The eventual plan is to CNC my mill but for now I am just trying to
get some software that would allow mw to jog, free run and move the
steppers by a defined number of steps (basically a manual positioning
control panel).

I want to do this first to gradually get up the learning curve.

Can anyone suggest some low cost or shareware software for this?
