thanks for input,and to answer your questions/fill in blanks.
175lb is 2 ea 2x4 1/4 wall alum with 1/4 in plate both sides
2 12" travel Z axis with 18# 1hp DC motors,
X Y travels 144,60.
I do have alternate design using 2 1200ozin motors coupled to the
cross shaft. Using two geckos driven by the same signal from CNC Pro.
I decided that with a max rpm of 300-350 a single larger motor
would work and eliminates one drive,coupler etc.
