As you seem to be in the UK the European supplier offers a 1/3 hp motor with
the Taig CNC MicroMill at GBP72 (£72) extra. I have one as I was concerned
by the low power (I thought) of the standard motor. A minor point is that
the guard has to be stepped out a bit to accomodate the larger motor. But it
is no problem.

upgrade as well. The Taig has the more powerful steppers (By 55oz/in) but
