Quick RF-45/VFD question

Hi everyone,

We're just getting ready to cut a P.O. for a Rong Fu RF-45 mill
and I need to pick somekind of a phase converter/VFD for it.
One question which comes ups is whether the RF-45 has a handbrake
on the spindle or not. Can anyone of guys out there check their
machine for me? If the machine doesn't have a handbrake then I
can get a Hitachi SJ100 VFD which includes dynamic braking.

Second question is if anyone out there using a VFD still uses
the power switch on the mill to switch/reverse the power to the
motor. According to the nice tech at AutomationDirect I could
rewire the switch on the mill to control one of the inputs on
the VFD to accomplish the same thing but I don't know if I want
to start tearing into the mill right at the start :-)

Thanks,
Drew
