And a fellow I visited in the Netherlands has most of the EMC software
running on NT. He uses standard axis drive boards from the company that
he works for (Nyquist) and simply FIFO's 20 or so motion cubic splines
between the running EMC and each axis card. He even demonstrated velocity
control with no direct velocity feedback.
