Well yes and no. The NT at the site mentioned is, as Tim said, a demo
version only. And to reproduce the full EMC system using the NT OS would
require the purchase of real-time software that runs between NT and the
processor. It would also require some work on the "open source" emc
software.

But Art F. has parts of the EMC code running with MS OS's without that
additional expense. Thanks for all your time and effort Art!

And a fellow I visited in the Netherlands has most of the EMC software
running on NT. He uses standard axis drive boards from the company that
he works for (Nyquist) and simply FIFO's 20 or so motion cubic splines
between the running EMC and each axis card. He even demonstrated velocity
control with no direct velocity feedback.

The box said, runs with MS Windows 95 or better, so I loaded Linux. <grin>
