Laugh? NO! We're all curious, and can gain from studying other's
efforts.
In my case MaxNC remembers where it was. I'm not using homing in my
simple setup, but it might be useful if you use fixtures, and know that
the part will be EXACTLY located referenced to HOME. Might be nice!
LIMIT switches would seem to be more important to me, at this
time/size. Might want to ask the guys with the BIG machines (and/or
more experience)! My Vector CAD/CAM work with the Sherline started just
after last P.R.I.M.E., last fall.
