Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Laser for Carbon Panels

Does anone know if a laser cutter will cut carbon (graphite) 1/16" -1/8"
thick panels. I know carbon tends to snap with heat so I pressume that the
intensity of the laser will cut through the panel with ease, but I could be
wrong. Cuting the panels with a CNC machine has shown a lot of wear and tear
on the cutters, I am looking for alternatives. What laser cutter,if anyone
knows will do the job. Anyone know how the RC car chassis carbon,
fiberglass plates are cut with precision?
