Stepper motor wiring

I'm trying to hook up a Vexta 6 wire stepper to a Camtronics 5Amp Driver. I
understand I don't use the center tap, but do I hook phase A a to one
winding and phase B b to the other? This seem kind of logical to me, but I
don't want my first experience with this thing to be smoky.
