Re: Flashcut system

One of my customers bought a flashcut signal generator and would like to use
it with the commerical drivers that I sell for small machines. He paid $1100
for it .
I looked at it and saw that it was just a max232 chip. Some optoisolators
and a dallas 87C520 cpu. They set up the output so you can use a standard
db25 cable wired straight thru but their pinouts is very non standard .
What shocked me was that I looked at the the manual that it only did
G0,1,2,3,52,90,91 and some M codes . I admit that the manual was several
years old so they may have added a bunch of G codes but that sure seems
priceyfor the gcode that one gets. EMC on the otherhand is a darn good and
is much more powerfuland it is free.
