I have one of those dyna2400 mills. Really nice. The motor they use are a
8 wire dual shaft. I simply figured out the pin out of their connector and
used one of my drivers to run it. I am running it in bipolar parallel .
I was going to use the existing drivers but realized that I would have to
jerk the microprocessor out of the amp and design a replacement board that
would plug in. I figured I could use something like a L297 for the
translator but I decided against it because I have been really busy and
second I did think there would be a large enough market for a mod kit to
update the existing controls.
