Try http://www.elabinc.com and take a look at the EDE1204. It would be about
as simple as it gets. Look at page 4 of the data sheet for the schematics of
hooking it up to an L293 (I would suggest you get the L293D and not have to
bother with the external diodes). With the high resistance of the motor you
should be fine with the capacity of an L293D.
