Yes, good plan! Probably not too many of them around ('couple in my
first robot, 'tho). Now that I think of it, the 7.5 deg steppers I have
are "two stacks" (3 or 4 wires come out of each stack), I think they ARE
6-wire. So if that's what Phil has, he can drive them either way (copy
Phil?).
