BOSS 5 Rapid Rate

My BOSS 5 manual shows the original "as delivered" rapid rate was 120 IPM
The short story is that you can only cut so fast, especially when you only have a 4000 RPM spindle. So all your time is lost in
rapids, BUT this only matters if you are making lots of parts.
We are talking about home shop and hobby here, at the most maybe small buisiness or short run production. If you are worried about
your throughput, I can build you three machines all running at 50 ipm, cheaper than you can buy 1 that will rapid at 150.
You drive a Cadillac, I drive a Honda Civic, but at the end of the trip we're both at the same place.
I'm starting to think that you guys all have lots more money than me.
