  Marris: thanks for all the info. I have now decided how to set up my 
motors and bipolor driver. I have 3 mini machines with unipolor
motors with nameplate currents of 1.5a 1.4a and 1.0a. I will set
bipolor current for .7 amps using the full windings as I don,t intend
to keep setting the driver currents with machine change. I don,t
think there will be any problems from the sounds of your last message
on this subject. Many thanks to all and have acquired great info on
this website
