Sumthin HAS changed! It's called the Gecko 7A,80V microstepping drive.
Makes the electronic part "brain dead"; ya just gotta find a big
stepper...
Of course, as my previous post said (which agreed with an even more
previous post<G>), top speed will be limited. Still useful,IMO, if
the users' needs are already "slanted" towards things this setup will
do well.
