[CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO) 555 Timer circuit Request

Bill,
All of the steppers I have (yes, they are mounted on machines) will frequently
stall or not rotate with a sudden drive input at most speeds. Ramp up and down
makes all very smooth. I use a 555 Timer with initial ramped frequency control
and gating to provide 3 axis push button 2 direction (6 button) control.
There is also a multiplex chip interface to allow switched pass thru computer
control or pendant jog.
My machines are Sherlines with 125 oz motors and Camtronics drives.
