The point isn't to go slam some company. I have NO direct experience
with their product. It was some misguided idiot that sent my post in to
this company claiming it was slander. I looked up the whole thread and
forwarded the page to the company so they could see the context. They
consider NOTHING in the entire thread to be slanderous.
For good measure, I also did a Google-groups search and forwarded
everything I've ever posted regarding this company (not much) and none
of that was considered slander by them.
This company has sold probably thousands of product, but the google
search turned up only a few complaints, so I really don't see any good
coming from dragging them out for a public flogging.

Most folks, myself included, tend to view forums like this to be
relatively private. I simply wanted to make folks aware that it isn't,
and comments can come back to bite.
The point IS, the internet IS being watched. Cover yourself by sticking
to FACTS. Complain on the soapbox only after a company has failed to
help you out. And don't say anything in public that you are not willing
to stand up in court to defend.
