genius, stupids or bastards?

Hello Friends,
Excuse me if this is way of interest, but I need to cry it out!
What are costarican electricians?
Genius, Stupid or Bastards?
I have no idea.
I was contracted to put a Guillotine for wood again to work,
that had no electrical wiring at all.

So I made a plan, programed a Siemens Logo mini PLC.
Thought the factories main electrician how to program and how he can
change parameters. At least instructed him how to make the installation.

Confiding in him I let him make the main part of the job. the other
electrician
was on charge for to get the spare parts. And I came in everyday for
supervision.
The job became longer and longer instead of 3 days we spent now 8 days
in installation. Spare part delay, new wishes, maximum easiness for
maintenance, more LED's for simple failure detection, etc., etc., bla
bla bla.....

Finally yesterday started my real part of the job. >> getting out the
bugs in
hydraulics and electric's.
Today the main electrician was ill.
And after having changed the presostat and a pressure regulating valve
things started to become strange. I could initiate valves although the
pump
wasn't switched on. The enough pressure light didn't go of and the
safety fuse of the Logo blew.
"Something is going wrong!!!"
Auxiliary relays that worked yesterday didn't pull and the Logo gave me
the
alarm for unlogical states.
And I started to have a look.
After I found some 10 loose cables, genius connections of the hydraulic
valves through the Logo's 100 mA fuse and ground where the T-line was
supposed to be, I simply threw away the work of 4 days.
And pulled out most auxiliary relays and rely just on the Logo's relays.

In 2 1/2 hours the restructuration was done. But afterwards the
electrical bugs
continued. And I continued finding nonsense.
Now I really ask myself: " Do these people think they are genius and
have to reinvent he wheel? Is it simply negligence at work? Are they
simply stupid?
Or do I deal with bastards who make sabotage?"

I fear all ideas have some truth here.
I will need at least 1 or 2 days to clean up the mess.

Obviously I made my own mistakes too. But I respond for them.
And this time will learn my lesson!!!
