Thanks for the suggestion. I currently do not have access to a Biax to look
at. I will be attending a scraping class in July and hope to learn more
about how they are built.
As for scraping the ways of a long lathe bed, I would send it out for
grinding instead. Inverted V ways are a nightmare to requalify by hand
scraping if they have much wear.
