You are trying to compare apples and oranges here. BobCAD is a complete
CAD/CAM program. The less than an Andrew Jackson special offer that Fred has
is for Vector CAD only and does not include the CAM function. Fred has said
that he is throwing in the CAM function of connect at Z along with some
unspecified functions. For the price just buy it and see what you think. If
you want a real comparison you have to look at Vector CAD/CAM (with all the
CAM functions turned on) compared to BobCAD. I think you will find Vector
offers more bang for the buck and top class support. If you want to try the
whole package you can get a demo version of Vector CAD/CAM from their
website.
