Hi,
I just got back from some backpacking in the local mountains. Kinda
depressing hiking above 10,000 ft isn't as easy as it used to be,
(pant, pant and pant).
The pulse multipliers for steppers are just a little different than
the ones for the servodrives. The main difference is the stepper
logic runs at +12V while the servodrive logic (and the multiplier
logic) runs at +5V.
This means the multipliers intended for steppers have a 78L05
regulator, while the ones intended for servodrives have a loop of
wire where the regulator would otherwise be.
