EMC is a complete CNC control program for machine tools, robots and
similar machines. yes, it can be used for retrofitting.

It can drive step/direction or phase -drive type stepper drivers (with or
without encoder feedback), or servo motion systems with +/- 10 V velocity
commands. For servos, you can use the Servo-to-Go card or my
Parallel Port Axis Control card set. For steppers, you just need a
parallel port.
