I just used some beefy socket 7 fans I had kicking around (they were
designed for the AMD-K6 which was a hot running chip). Despite Donald's
warning about the clips breaking I was able to bend mine without any
problem. Coated the base of the drive with heatsink compound and stuck
on the computer heatsink. Am running on a Bridgeport series II mill with
NEMA 42 size motors at 62 VDC and the computer heatsinks alone are
keeping everything cool.
